During a time of social distancing and sheltering in place, many photographers lose the essence of their art, which is real-time, face-to-face connection with subjects that move them. TC Photo is offering a way to maintain contact. Twice a week we are gathering in an open group discussion involving photographers and others interested in how photography can help us cope with the isolation imposed by this enormously challenging global pandemic.

The meetings take place on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m. (U.S.A. Central Time). Participants in the meetings will have access to a password-protected bulletin board on TC Photo’s site for posts from group members and links related to the conversations.

TC Photo’s director George Slade facilitates the discussions and manages the bulletin board. There is no fee to participate.
